WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT

 Pande Batang is a Filipino Bakeshop located in Pyeongtaek City South Korea. You may wonder what is the meaning of pande Batang?

Well pande is a spanish word for "bread" and Batang is a shortened form of Batangas  Alex Hometown. Batangas is well known as a baker's home because in here there are lot's of excellent bakers. You must be familiar with PandeManila? Well if there is Pande Manila there is Pande Batang. OK.

Alex the owner of PandeBatang came to Korea in  2003 as a factory worker. He really loved breads specially pandesal because from the very young age he kept eating it for breakfast. But he cannot really find the pandesal which is really taste like home in Korea. So he decided to make his own pandesal at home.

Before coming to Korea he used to worked in bakeries in Batangas as assistant. He also sold pandesal in his hometown just to support his schooling so from the young age he already knew the original taste of pandesal.  From baking at home Alex decided to sell his home baked pandesal by posting it in social media he was surprised from the good feedback he got. From selling 10 to 20 packs of pandesal at the beginning it grows to more and more he even got 80 to 100 packs orders during peak season like September to December where many Filipino's in Korea missed and craved for taste like home pandesal. Because of the growing orders Alex decided to find a place in order to serve his growing clients which include not only Filipinos but also foreigners and Koreans

In Feb 1,2020 Pande batang started since then we continue to bake Fresh baked Pandesal not only that we also started to add more menus in our products as you can see in our Menu tab.
